The Role


As the Coordinator for our Park Royal Pool facility you will have an important role welcoming all our families and creating relationships with our staff at our brand-new swimming pool located at Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver.

This position would be ideal for someone starting their career in operations, HR, and customer service.


Your Responsibilities

  • Create personable relationships with families
  • Process product sales, program registrations, payments, cancellations and class switches
  • Work closely with Park Royal Facility Manager and other staff to ensure swim lessons are running smoothly
  • Prevent, manage, and find solutions to customer problems or complaints
  • Assist with facilitating program and class transitions
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, safety and security at all times
  • Assist with setting seasonal schedules and find replacement staff in case of staff absences
  • Ensure schedules and class changes are communicated to staff
  • Enter payroll hours into the Payroll Guardian system by set deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; call centre, retail, hospitality, or reception/front desk experience an asset
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role
  • Experience working with children and staff in a sport, recreation, or summer camp environment an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problemsolve, and remain composed under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Office365

Hours

  • Parttime to fulltime hours available ( up to 40 hours per week)
  • Shifts will include one weekend day
  • Start date: ASAP

Wage

  • Starting at $18/ hour
