JOB SUMMARY


The
Bilingual AR Collections Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts in a timely manner, problem solve issues affecting AR outstanding and performs other daily AR functions.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively seeks out customer payments before it becomes overdue.
  • Collect and reduce outstanding aging in A/R sub ledger.
  • Resolves A/R aging issues by reviewing account and resolving any discrepancies on open invoices
  • Verifies account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service and customers
  • Prepare monthly AR aging analysis for review
  • Monthly review of open credits for clean up
  • Assist in AR inbound calls
  • Complete customer master account set up and review credit limits and risks
  • Complete work within expected periods of time
  • Communicate well with colleagues
  • Have minimum absenteeism and be punctual
  • Maintain a happy workplace
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 13 years of current experience in a comparable role
  • University degree or College diploma
  • Data processing knowledge required
  • SAP experience considered an asset
  • Customerservice oriented
