**Are you passionate about resource management and schedule optimization? Do you continuously look for ways to improve operational process and efficiency?
We are looking for an analytical and motivated

Resourcing Team Lead for our

Head Office to be based out of

Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, or Toronto You will oversee all professional services delivery requests across all branches, ensuring they are managed with courtesy, urgency and accuracy. You will identify trends and suggest creative solutions to solve resourcing challenges in addition to providing overall leadership and guidance to the Resourcing Team.


A Day in the Life:


  • Ensure appropriate levels of staffing are maintained across all branches and all projects, ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) commitments are being met or exceeded
  • Provide strong direction and support to the Resourcing Team, ensuring technical consultants are assigned to engagements that match their capabilities and availability
  • Act as an escalation point for all resourcing enquiries, expediting resolutions when needed
  • Foster strong relationships with management and service delivery teams
  • Develop an understanding of consultants' career progression and assign projects that support their development
  • Ensure employee profiles, skills and certifications are up to date
  • Report on utilization, financial forecasting and scheduling
  • Ensure new team members are properly onboarded and expectations are clear
  • Regularly deliver positive feedback and constructive criticism, identify areas that need improvement and provide life and career support to each of your team members
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings

What You Bring:


  • 3+ years in a professional services environment in a resourcing or resource management role
  • Advanced knowledge of resource management tools such as, Excel, Power BI, and CRM
  • Strong knowledge of IT skill sets
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and upbeat demeanor
  • Ability to quickly grasp and analyze complex issues, diagnose multidimensional problems, and formulate insightful and appropriate responses or strategies to address them
  • Drive and ability to work well under pressure, managing competing priorities
  • A continuous improvement mindset that creates efficiencies which accelerate delivery and increase the quality of outcomes
  • Attention to detail and an analytical approach that identifies trends, focuses on leading indicators and takes proactive action
  • Confidence in presenting to senior leadership and discussing areas of importance
