Full-time Construction Estimator in the Fraser Valley

Duties:

Estimating the cost of small to large scale projects
Obtain all relevant information for takeoffs
Monitoring and executing projects efficiently and effectively including going to job sites
Procures costs and ensures materials, equipment and labor are utilized most efficiently and effectively
Prepares estimates for presentation with details and accuracy
Conducting preestimate site checks
Prioritize project estimations

To be eligible for this position, ALL position requirements must be met.

Position Requirements:

1 year of experience in estimating in British Columbia:

Civil engineer education preferred:

-
1 year civil construction experience in British Columbia:

Must be organized
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be willing to commute to work
Must be willing to work safely in a team environment
Must be willing to learn
Time management skill
Meet project deadlines

Other Requirements:

Is committed to doing quality work the first time with little or no need for rework
Is deadline driven, punctual and respects other people's time
Proficient knowledge of WorkSafeBC standards and policies
A valid BC driver's license (class 5)
First Aid would be an asset

Salary:

$27.96-$31.16 per hour
