    Description

    Poste en Java/base de données de niveau intermédiaire pour les données de référence sur les valeurs mobilières à notre bureau de Montréal. Le/la candidat(e) fera partie d'une équipe de développeurs orientés vers l'entreprise qui se concentrera sur la création et la maintenance de diverses applications dans les plates-formes SRD existantes, ainsi que sur les efforts de rénovation en cours.

    Dans ce rôle, le/la candidat(e) assurera fréquemment la liaison avec les autres membres de l'escouade ainsi qu'avec d'autres escouades mondiales, parties prenantes pour effectuer leurs tâches quotidiennes.

    Le candidat aura l'occasion de travailler directement avec les utilisateurs, l'analyste d'affaires, de traduire les exigences d'affaires dans l'architecture technique et de gérer de manière indépendante leurs livrables de bout en bout.

    De plus, le candidat doit avoir de solides compétences dans l'exécution de tâches avec diligence raisonnable et ce sera un grand avantage pour lui d'être familier avec le jargon financier, en particulier applicable au domaine des données de référence.

    Description du poste:

    Le/La candidate doit avoir au moins 5+ ans d'expérience pertinente en informatique, de préférence dans une organisation de services financiers ou de gestion de patrimoine. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) sera un(e) joueur(euse) motivé(e) qui a l'esprit d'équipe et qui s'engage à livrer à temps et qui doit être capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision.

    Compétences requises

    1. Bonne compréhension de la technologie Java (Core Java, J2EE)

    2. Connaissance des frameworks open-source : Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate.

    3. SGBDR (bien versé avec SQL, les procédures stockées, etc.)

    4. JSON, Schémas XML

    5. Bonne compréhension des méthodologies SDLC

    6. Capacité à communiquer de manière claire et concise ; individuellement ou devant un groupe

    7. Souci du détail

    8. Solides compétences en communication

    9. Sens aigu de l'appartenance et de la responsabilité au travail

    10. Le candidat devra travailler avec des équipes géographiquement dispersées

    Preference d'avoir des compétences:

    1. API REST, microservices

    2. Connaissance de MongoDB

    3. Connaissance des scripts (Shell, Python)

    4. N'importe lequel des concepts Autosys, Cron Job, Airflow

    5. Technologies de messagerie – Kafka ou MA

    This position is for a mid-level Java/Database developer for Securities Reference Data at our Montreal Office. The candidate will be a part of a business-oriented squad of developers focused on the build-out and maintenance of various applications in the existing SRD platforms as well as ongoing renovation efforts.

    In this role, the candidate will frequently liaise with other members of squad as well as other global squads, stakeholders to perform their daily tasks.

    Candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with the users, business analyst, translate business requirements into the technical architecture and independently manage their end-to-end deliverables.

    Further the candidate needs to have strong skills of executing tasks with due diligence and it will be a big advantage for them to be familiar with financial jargon especially applicable to reference data domain.

    Position Description

    The candidate should have at least 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision.
