The incumbent manages and maintains database information for clients and manages reports prepared with this information.

They also provide technical support to the Health and Wellness plan administration team as well as to the implementation team.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with business partners to obtain requirements for new report builds
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes or improve current SOP's
  • Automate and schedule reports using SSIS
  • Build and identify reports that can be setup in our selfservice module using SSRS
  • Act as technology expert during system implementation for new clients or system conversion for longstanding clients
  • Adapt and test parameters of our inhouse software to determine and test data exchange processes
  • Ensure quality control and integrity of our databases
  • Draft various procedures and/or technological documentation (technical and user)
  • Respond to requests and needs of the administration team (clients and internal users)

Requirements:


  • Diploma of college studies in computer sciences or an education/work experience considered relevant to the position
  • Very good aptitude for communication in English, both oral and written, good customer service skills and ability to popularize
  • Very good aptitude for working in a computerized Windows environment, good knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in Excel and Access
  • Creativity, attention to detail and initiative
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines, proven analytical skills and ability to synthesize information, organizational skills and flexibility in managing several projects
  • Enthusiasm, good team spirit and ability to work without supervision
  • A quick learner
