Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the barViral Nation is seeking a People Coordinator Co-op student to join our growing. People team for a 4-6 month contract.

You will be exposed to HR functions including Recruitment, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Performance Management. If you're passionate about working on a team that encourages innovation and will challenge you daily, this role is for youWhat you will do here:
- Provide recruitment admin support, scheduling interviews, background checks, as well as drafting offers
- Participate in the onboarding process, including data entry, creating employee files, liaising with IT, setting up benefits and facilitating new hire orientation
- Assist in managing inhouse HRIS, including the filing of confidential employee documents, performance reviews and other HRrelated files
- Support with adhoc reporting such as attrition, new hires, promotions, etc. as required
- Collect and organize HR data that will be used to develop metrics, such as turnover, time to hire, etc.
- Assist in documentation of all people team processes and SOPs including workflows
- Conduct research on various HR initiatives, programs and policies that will strengthen Viral Nation's operations and culture
- Support the People team in daytoday administrative tasks/ including letter creation, coordinating tasks etc.
- Special projects as they arise
What you need to have:
- Enrolment in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other related programs
- High Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage sensitive team member information with professionalism and high regard for privacy and confidentiality
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage end to end tasks/projects
- Proactive, selfstarter, eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, agile work environment
- Creative mindset with a propensity for continuous improvement on existing or net new people progress/initiatives
