Laboratory Technicians are responsible for various general laboratory duties in our Potency Laboratory. Laboratory Technicians will adhere strictly to GLP and GNP guidelines, as instructed during onboard training.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Processing, labeling of samples in an accurate, timely, and consistent manner.
  • Accurate and timely data collection, preparation, and accurate record keeping.
  • Adherence to laboratory SOPs, Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory stations and general facilities.
  • Supporting laboratory technicians, chemists and scientists as instructed.
  • Entering/recording data in LIMS and other records to be verified and validated by senior lab staff.
  • Opportunities to development skills on HPLC techniques.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:


  • Diploma/Certification from a recognized Laboratory Technician, Biotechnology, or similar program.
  • 12 years of laboratory experience.
  • Preferred experience in GLP, GMP background.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, punctuality and following through on commitments.
  • Proficiency in excel, database userinterfaces, and query software.
  • Effective time and task management.
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of GMP and ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • LIMS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform laboratory tests and experiments to analyze samples
  • Collect and record data accurately and efficiently
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Prepare and handle samples for testing
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth laboratory operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
  • Proficient in math and statistical analysis
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting preferred
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary:
From $45,000.00 per year
