GROW again Bradford Greenhouses is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our Bradford Wholesale maintenance team.

Summary

The facilities maintenance manager is responsible for daily repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance of Bradford Greenhouses' various facilities. Job Duties

  • Manage facilities related capital projects such as roofing, HVAC, building controls, and energy efficiency
  • Plan and execute building maintenance and operational programs for all facilities in the company
  • Provide constant oversight and managing the upkeep of various electrical systems, such as the HVAC system.
  • Responsible for daily repairs and overall facility maintenance
  • Ensure the efficiency and operational capacity of all building systems
  • Make sure that all maintenance processes and procedures are safe, and that all compliance programs are being met
  • Coordinate with other department heads to make sure all maintenance processes are on track.
  • Demonstrated commitment to action, adherence to maintenance department protocol while supporting a commitment to a 100% operational environment
  • Completes preventative maintenance routines
  • Ability to utilize data to develop or maintain system reporting (uptime, downtime, daily/weekly downtime analysis)
  • Attend scheduled safety and maintenance training programs and / or provide training to employees
  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses in area and implement countermeasures to lower risk scores
  • Responsible for all documentation required for site access, lay down and other logistics for the contractors and vendors
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, delegating duties and activities as required, outsourcing as needed.
  • Coordinate outside maintenance and repairs with vendors
  • Order equipment/supplies as needed
  • Participate in equipment/machinery and plant/Greenhouse layout initiatives
  • Prepare operation reports, maintenance budgets, and provide analysis of all reports to higherups
  • Prepare and file all relevant reports with the government and regulatory authorities

Requirements:


  • A high school diploma, and a bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, facilities management, or any related field
  • Electrical License 309A preferred
  • Certification in facilities management is a plus
  • At least five years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Previous managerial experience is recommended, especially in facilities management
  • A working understanding of electrical systems, HVAC systems, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and various mechanical and architectural systems
  • Ability to work at heights of 40 ft.
  • Experience with Argas environmental system is a plus
  • Physical fitness is a must
  • Previous experience in the organization's industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds keeping, and equipment repair is essential
  • A basic understanding of fire alarms, and other facilityrelated systems is also crucial
