Stenberg College is seeking two Practice Education Monitors in the Lower Mainland for our Pharmacy Technician Program Monitors are responsible for overseeing students while on their practicums within various optical practices in their region.

Location:Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, BC Interior, and Alberta

Employment Type: Part-time/Contract Based
Schedule:
- 9 weeks of practicum
- 1.5 Hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Pay rate: $32 per hour with 1 hr. 15 min. of monitoring per week plus additional pay for administration paperwork = $397 total per student for each
What You Will Be Doing:

Setting Your Schedule:_you will connect with students and arrange times to connect with them each week.

Providing mentorship:_ you were once where the students are; share your insight on the industry, monitor their progress, provide on-going feedback and help support their learning
- _
Being a Liaison:_representing Stenberg College and upholding the ideals of our institution
Who You Are:
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the province of British Columbia with a minimum of two years' experience
- Sound knowledge in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates confidence, positivity, and a strong work ethic
- Teaching or instructional experience would be an asset
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
From $32.00 per hour
Experience:
Pharmacy Technician: 2 years (required)
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician License (required)
