    has an exciting opportunity for Mining Engineers in Training (EIT) to join our team at the Hemlo Operations near Marathon, Ontario.

    ~ Rotation is 14-shifts on / 14-shifts off. (FIFO/DIDO)

    Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers while supporting continuous improvement and mine optimization projects geared towards achieving key performance targets.

    Spend time completing underground operational rotations, exposing yourselves to:
    Underground haulage fleet operation and management
    Underground development cycle operation and management
    Underground services and construction crew
    Exposure to site financial and commercial operations


    • Prepare monthly contractor claims and reports
    • Manage databases and conduct self-managed continuous improvement projects on site
    • Provide support for analysis and data visualization
    • Assist short range planning department as required
    Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering


    • Underground Mining experience is considered an asset
    • Experience with PowerBI and relational databases is considered an asset
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Deswik is considered an asset
    • Willingness to gain underground operational experience
    • Valid Driver's license
