Centreville Construction Corp. is the construction arm of Concord Pacific Developments Corp. which is Canada's largest master-planned community builder. It was formed in 1987 to develop Concord Pacific Place on the former Expo lands in downtown Vancouver, Canada.
Concord has not only transformed the Concord Pacific Place Vancouver skyline, we have also built the second largest master-planned community, Concord CityPlace in Toronto (Concord Adex), in addition to other communities of scale across the country with expansion also to London, United Kingdom and Seattle, United States.
Over the past 30 years, The Concord Group of companies has also diversified into business sectors such as: software and information technology, telecommunications, and green energy projects in solar, wind and hydroelectric power generation.
We are actively hiring for a site administrator for our construction site office in Surrey, to support multiple departments in administrative task to ensure project deadline compliance and flow.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing and processing invoices and progress claims and historical invoices
Sending approved invoices to head office
Following up with head office and trades/vendors on status of payments
Processing monthly trade Progress Claims
Reviewing current progress claim vs. previous progress claims and confirming this with site team
Communicating payment status and confirming information with trades
Processing change orders for contract progress claims and from trades/head office
Spreadsheet tracking including budget, back charge etc
Producing new excel spreadsheets/analysis for Project Manager, head office, and site team as required
Plan review, RFI/SI/Shop drawing review/submittal, organizing site documents in the office, attending consultant/trade meetings compiling/sending meeting minutes and document tracking logs weekly
Filing & organizing documents, keeping track of documents for later completion, keeping trade binders up to date and organized
Order office supplies, plans, minor technical assistance/document creation for colleagues
Skills
Extremely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is a must
Proficient in typing and proofreading documents and taking meeting minutes and proficient in Excel
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Organized with exceptional time-management
Experience in a construction or project environment an asset
