Job summary
Nuclear Power is a carbon-free energy source. Our electric power generation clients are digitizing their existing power plants and building new nuclear power plants. This expanding work in the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering group offers challenging assignments including investigating troubleshooting solving instrumentation & controls engineering issues performing digital systems design development PLC DCS HSI networked computer systems for nuclear plant systems preparing functional system requirement specifications quality reports software categorization reports.Qualifications

A BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited undergraduate program or a US based ABET-accredited program is required along with 10 or more years of experience in instrumentations controls systems design project team environment heavy industrial plants integrated detailed system design new replacements existing plants experience Candu reactors including DCS turbine control feedwater control data display serving firm/client liaison support lead engineering role desirable reviewing design drawings created by others valued but not required skills P Eng license active Ontario Power Generation OPG security clearance construction start-up commissioning broad background providing technical support nuclear plant projects testing operations contract specifications project oversight successful execution complex nuclear projects Candu BWR PWR reactor plants.Job description
