    Field Service Technician - $70,000 to $84,000 per year - Remote, Winnipeg

    Are you a mechanically inclined individual with 3+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and servicing CNC sheet metal fabricating machines including Lasers?
    Do you have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and are comfortable traveling freely throughout western Canada to visit various client sites?

    Permanent Position

    Hours:
    Monday to Friday daytime hours, plus OT as needed week-to-week

    Starting wage:
    $ $26.50/hr (based on certification and experience)
    - signing bonus
    - annual performance bonus
    Potential annual earnings of $60k - $66k/yr (before overtime)

    Responsibilities
    As a CNC Field Service Technician, a normal day would include:

    • Reviewing all client emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance requests
    • Connecting with customers on issues and scheduling service calls.
    • Coordinating with travel advisor on outoftown service needs
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair CNC Machines
    • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of machines.
    • Order parts for customers.
    - keeping updated records of completed work orders, client follow-ups, and maintenance suggestions

    • Staying up to date by reading electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and parts diagrams.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors in person, by telephone, email, etc.
    • Work productively both independently and in a group.
    • Other duties may be assigned
    Qualifications
    What do you need for this position?

    • Able to legally work in Canada
    • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
    • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
    • Experience with Fanuc CNC controls, Lasers, or other CNC machinery.
    • Advanced knowledge of PCs including networking
