Position Summary

Work within a team and contribute to the accounting cycle by performing specific facets related to invoicing and general accounting duties.

Core responsibilities will encompass the accurate entry of financial data into our specialized transportation accounting software, reconciliation of financial records, and crucial support in managing accounts.

Location:
Terrebonne, Quebec

Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 40 hours, Hybrid model

What you will do

Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor invoices
Receive, sort, prepare, enter, and code invoices ensuring POs, receipts, and invoices are matched and then set up for payment
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

2 years of experience in accounting is required
College diploma in accounting or business administration
Must be fluently Bilingual in both French and English
Transportation experience is considered an asset
Proficiency in Sage 50 or MS Dynamics would be viewed as an asset

Along with the following Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in MS Excel and Word is required
Highly organized with the ability to multitask
Strong attention to detail
Strong ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal business communication skills
