The Flying Pig is looking for experienced Restaurant Managers. We are a rapidly growing group of restaurants focusing on fresh local ingredients.

Our restaurants are welcoming and comfortable venues featuring our own interpretations of classic comfort food with locations in Victoria and Vancouver.

Here is a brief and partial overview of manager expectations:

exceptional leadership skills

- commitment to exceeding guest expectations
- ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals

Sommelier certification or an equivalent, along with Food Safe and Serving it Right certification are expected
Good working knowledge of computers, including Excel and Word and extensive experience with Micros is also required as well as related forms of electronic debit and credit terminals
Must be able to multitask and work in all areas of the restaurant as might be required
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others
Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals
Able to serve tables and bartend if needed

Duties will include the following:
- control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
- implement operational procedures
- resolve customer complaints
- ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- manage maintenance and repair of equipment and furniture
- support the General Manager in any way required to achieve the best results for the guest and the restaurant.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
