Contract Administrator Job Description
We are seeking a trustworthy Contracts Administrator to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will be preparing, negotiating and reviewing various contracts such as purchase, sales and business partnerships.


Your responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing, negotiating, drafting and reviewing various agreements with both commercial and government counterparties such as nondisclosure agreements, consultant agreements, licenses, sales agreements and procurement agreements.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide expert contractual advice and guidance.
  • Reviewing requests for proposals and responding to terms and conditions.
  • Reviewing and updating company contract templates.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Analyzing potential risks involved with specific terms.
  • Updating and maintaining the contracts repository.
  • Staying upto date with legislative changes.
  • Contributing to process improvement and governance activities related to the functions of the department.
  • Such other responsibilities as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Director Legal and Contracts.
- a University degree in Business Administration or related field of study from a recognized post‐secondary institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 4 to 8 years' experience as a contracts professional within the aerospace, defense or hightechnology industries, with experience in drafting and negotiating complex and high profile transactions with both commercial and government entities.
  • Knowledge of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, teaming and other forms of agreements.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US government procurement regulations and processes is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving and organizational skills combined with a keen attention to details and thoroughness.
  • Sound judgement in proper evaluation of business risks for the corporation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced work environment while maintaining deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • GHGSat has international customers and partners therefore bilingualism (French/English) is preferred.


GHGSat employees must be able to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements.
