The Manager, Platform Products and Experiences will manage the introduction and maintenance of new digital platform products and services, addressing both business and consumer needs.

The Manager is accountable for ensuring the introduction of the products meets the business requirements, services meet specifications, while achieving strategic, corporate and operating goals.

Furthermore, post installation, the evolution and development for the roadmap will also be your responsibility.


Responsibilities:

Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Manager, Platform Products and Experiences:

  • Develops and maintain the product roadmaps for internal guidance and executive briefing to ensure the overall plan is aligned to the corporate and team objectives.
  • Works with the technology teams to ensure business requirements are met for any product related implementations.
  • Utilizes specific project methodology and be able to function at a high capacity in both Agile and Waterfall projects whilst performing Product Owner duties.
  • Works with all stakeholders including business, product, marketing and operational plans to support delivery of financial targets and strategic objectives.
  • Develops and manages the new product specifications and business cases for leadership and funding approval.
  • Develops and implements, with guidance from the Director of Platform Products and Experiences, annual objectives, strategies and plans for the product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities (continued):


  • Manages internal relationships and recommend changes, enhancements or solutions to products or marketing programs to increase revenue, strengthen delivery of targets, and/or maximize consumer loyalty for the new products and features.
  • Develops and implements ongoing reviews, to ensure delivery of targets and broader business objectives, including strategies to mitigate shortfalls and/or capture incremental opportunities.
  • Recognizes risks and opportunities based on consumer insights, market scans, trends and analyses, and recommend appropriate business strategies.
  • Identifies the need for, and facilitates the development of, new or modified products and our usability based on user feedback and product results, and/or to meet changing optimal operating conditions, review initiatives from other functions to ensure their acceptability from the point of view of product, and operational impacts, and incorporate approved changes into product plans.
  • Prepares product strategies as the primary input for the formulation of corporate strategies and evaluate strategic options from a Business and Consumer perspective.
  • Leads a team of professionals in a manner that promotes corporate values and leadership behaviours. Engages and coaches team members, enables them to optimize their role and contribution to the business and provides opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications:


Education

  • Completed postsecondary, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant functional experience.
  • 2 or more years' experience in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of SaaS consumer identity solutions
  • Understanding of Platform products and business models
  • Experience in service design and design thinking
  • Strong collaboration, builds and maintains highly effective relationships
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, market insight, business acumen
  • Thrives in a fastpaced, dynamic, multiinitiative environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team building and leadership skills and experience
  • Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decisionmaking skills with proven abilities in problem solving
