Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administration of all human resources functions. This includes the recruitment process, employee compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations.

The Human Resources Coordinator will also assist in developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Processes HR paperwork and maintains site files
Prepares internal correspondence as directed
Manages and maintains lists of regulatory requirements
Conducts site orientations
Responds to employment verification requests
Coordinates WSIB Claims to ensure accuracy
Provides guidance and interpretation of the sites two collective agreements.
Assists with the returntowork process and managing team member Leave of absences.
Provides HR advice to team members and site managers; refers to the Manager, Human Resources when necessary.
Liaises with other locations on team member and file transfers
May attend the OH&S meetings as an employer representative
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
