We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Givex Marketing Team. This role will be involved in all aspects of the department. Media, social media, website content, blogs, tradeshows and the development of marketing material and working with team on projects.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Direct the preparation and design for marketing content for various marketing materials
  • Project manage the production of multiple fastpaced quality designs in a deadline driven environment
  • Provide creative brainstorming ideas for projects
  • Maintain a digital asset database as related to the department
  • Plan, write and post to social media
  • Work with team members to understand project scope and objectives
  • Conceptualize designs in collaboration with marketing team
  • Liaise with external vendors to coordinate creative projects, ordering items and processing invoices
  • Proactively communicate issues, opportunities, and insights to the team
  • Complete adhoc requests as required

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Marketing or related field
  • Experience researching and writing a variety of materials, blog posts, web, and social media content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, creative thinker with the ability to plan and implement ideas for new and engaging content and campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Ability to create errorfree content that is engaging, professional and stylistically consistent with the organization's brand, under tight deadlines
  • Competent with all social media channels and social media strategy
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office Suite programs to manage and produce work
  • Google Analytics experience and general analytics and data knowledge, with the ability to use data to derive insights
  • Experience with leading digital marcomms platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, MailChimp etc.)
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and followthrough skills
  • Efficient project management skills with the ability to adhere to critical project timelines
  • Approachable with a collaborative/teamplayer attitude
  • Adaptability to situations, personalities and everchanging demands
  • Experience and proficiency with industry standard design software and tools, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset but not required
  • Ambitious, proactive and resourceful with a calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with a goaloriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn; receive, process and act on feedback
