Description

The main purpose of the position is to set-up, individually operate and adjust shear/folder/brake press and other related machinery while
meeting production, quality and safety requirements.

What you'll do:

Set up and operate power brake press and folder (bender) to bend, notch, or form metal to blueprint / drawing specifications.

Selects, positions, and aligns dies / tooling in machine.

Set up and operate manual or power shear to cut metal sheet or plate to specific size and angle. Select, position, and align cutters.
Set up and operate various presses for bailey products i.e. notched channel, HFA clips, flashings etc.
Verify conformance of materials and finished products to specifications and dimensions.
Identify quality issues and take corrective actions immediately.
Prepare and package products as per customer requirements.
Build packaging skids as required.
Troubleshoot machine problems, cleaning, lubricating equipment and replacing parts.
Document required production and safety related reports and forward to the supervisor.

What you'll need:

46 years brake press / bending experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
24 years of experience with equipment / tools such as cranes, forklift, strapping machine, cutter, and miter saw, QC instruments,

etc.

High school graduate with good communication skills (speaking and writing).
Personal attributes include attentive, ethical, openminded, observant, and tenacious. Quick learner, team player with initiatives and

capable of meeting deadlines.
