Work on preliminary/final purchase price calculations for new acquisitions and prepare purchase journal entries.
Prepare opening/final acquisition balances, monthly movements, and final reconciliations for various acquisitions.
Analyze monthly acquisition income statements, reconcile changes, and prepare variance explanations.
Reconcile bank accounts and sub-ledger accounts.
Prepare various regulatory and government reporting (RIBO, GST&HST, sales taxes, quarterly surveys etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the quality and reliability of financial information.
Complete other tasks as assigned and other ad-hoc reporting and accounting projects as required.5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing roles, with a focus on public company financial reporting preferred
Strong knowledge of IFRS, SEC regulations, and financial accounting standards
Must have advanced excel skills
