The Lead Analyst, Health Customer Analytics will use in-depth knowledge in quantitative database marketing and un understanding of the business process to help conduct data and analytical analyses to support the client's marketing and promotional activities.

These projects will include but are not limited to:

Data Analysis and Mining, Analysis of Covariance (test & control), Cluster Analysis, Customer Profiling, Campaign Analysis, and Predictive Statistical Models.

We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of techniques and tactics and judge them critically for potential use in client deliverables.

You will work in collaboration with internal and client teams on data acquisition, analysis, and presentation of results.

You will be a resource within area of expertise and provide guidance to more junior team members; may lead small teams on a project basis.

Perform the following core analytics tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Data analysis and mining
  • Report and deck building
  • Customer profiling and segmentation analysis
  • Statistical modeling

Additional daily activities may include:

  • Establish through testing and experimentation the right statistical approach for a given client situation
  • Conduct ETL operations and coordinate with clients, agencies, and our teams on ETL.
  • Determine quantitative methods for solving client issues.
  • Assisting in presenting ideas and findings to future and existing clients.
  • You will proactively interacting with other internal groups throughout Merkle across the globe
  • You will evaluating and improving of internal tools and processes
  • You will developing reports and processes to manage data quality control.
  • You will be interpreting, visualizing, and supporting client teams to deliver insights on analytic results.
  • You will anticipate project risk and constraints and proactively work on solutions to address the risk/constraints.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in statistics, math, economics or related scientific/quantitative field; advanced degree (M.A., M.S., Ph.
D.) preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative marketing arena, in database and/or digital (addressable) marketing, including strong understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience working in the Healthcare industry, specifically Pharma, helpful, but not required.
  • Strong in MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required with an ability to present engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Working knowledge of database systems.
  • Proficiency with multiple analytics tools required; Python, R, SQL
  • Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud computing platforms experience a plus.
  • Experience in dashboard (Tableau, Datorama) design, deployment, and client delivery preferred.
  • Ability to discover hidden insights or complex patterns through advanced multivariate data mining techniques on unstructured business problems.
  • Ability to translate analysis insights into actionable recommendations and strategies for marketers.

Additional Information:


The salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
