Position Summary:
The MIDC looks at cognitive and language development in children and adults. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic student to help with administrative aspects of lab functioning. Under the direction of the immediate supervisor and in the context of the entire lab team, the Lab Helper will assist with;- Collecting data about lab participants and inputting them into our databases- Ordering and tracking items needed for research (e.

g:
materials, lab equipment, MMP purchases)- Maintaining lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion.- Organizing lab meetings

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities- Availability during week days required- Understanding of the needs of parents and infants- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills- Undertaking studies in Psychology or related field- Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.
