JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Chef, the Dishwasher/ Steward's primary responsibility is to operate the dishwashing machine. The Steward/dishwasher is responsible for cleaning duties as well as helping the cooks with the kitchen prep as directed.

YOUR ROLE

  • Basic prep of food items for service
  • Keep the dishwashing area organized, tidy and clean
  • Set up the dishwashing area and operate the dishwashing machine
  • Regularly clean the machines
  • Manual dishwashing
  • Keep the outside area clean, free of litter, and swept if necessary
  • Keep the garbage containers emptied and cleaned
  • Take garbage bags/receptacles to the garbage room
  • Assist when needed

  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to lift up to 50lb, reach, bend, push, and stoop
  • Able to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours
hours per week,

  • 34 shifts. Evenings, closing 1011:30 pm.
  • Additional hours depending on business volume.
