The Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club ("the Club") is the city's premier racquets, fitness, and social Club.

Located just a few minutes from downtown, the Club offers exceptional tennis, badminton, squash, fitness and aquatics programming for over 4,000 members, along with a variety of social events with upscale-casual dining in 3 restaurants.

We are looking for a full-time
Beverage Manager /Food and Beverage Manager to join our team Ideally someone looking to work 5 days per week including weekends and evenings.

JOB SUMMARY**:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Program Management

Develop and implement a comprehensive beverage program for the club
Create and maintain a menu of specialty and signature cocktails
Ensure the inventory levels of all beverage products are adequate
Ensure the beverage program meets the expectations of members and guests

2. Beverage Sales & Revenue Generation

Implement strategies to increase beverage sales and revenue for the club
Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth
Create and manage promotions and discounts to drive sales and revenue
Train and motivate staff to upsell and promote beverage products

3. Staff Management & Training

Hire and train beverage staff and bartenders
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels
Provide ongoing training and development to staff to ensure exceptional service and product knowledge
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff

4. Event Management

Organize and execute multiple beverage events throughout the year
Collaborate with the Catering Sales Coordinator to create beverage packages for private events
Ensure the successful execution of all beveragerelated events, including setup and breakdown

5. Budget & Cost Control

Develop and manage the beverage budget, including forecasting and expense management
Ensure the cost of goods sold for beverages is within budget
Work with the Food & Beverage Director to develop pricing strategies that balance profitability and member satisfaction

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in the beverage industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

Knowledge of beverage and mixology trends and techniques

Excellent customer service skills

Strong leadership and management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and financial reports

Knowledge of budgeting and expense management
