Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for numbers, precision, and contributing to the success of a thriving business? Look no further Ferguson Moving, a well-established Moving & Storage company located conveniently near BCIT, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in the financial health of our organization.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Performing fullcycle accounting tasks, including AP cheque runs
Managing bookkeeping and journal entries for multiple companies
Preparing bank reconciliations and providing supplemental information to management
Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
Administering payroll and preparing government remittances for WCB, payroll, and corporate taxes
Compiling weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
Managing Accounts Receivables (AR)

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintaining an organized filing system
Undertaking administrative duties as assigned by the manager
Utilizing Google Docs and Excel for various tasks
Efficiently navigating QuickBooks Online

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should have:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong multitasking skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of MS Office and Google, including Word and Excel
Familiarity with data entry
Excel experience is a definite asset

Location:
Our office is conveniently situated near the Gilmore SkyTrain station, offering easy accessibility.

Compensation:
This part-time position offers a competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

The initial pay scale is $18-22 per hour, and we value the skills and expertise you bring to our team.

Work Hours:
This position currently entails 15-20 hours per week, providing a flexible schedule to accommodate your commitments.
