- (i) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including but not limited to the supervision of undergraduate field experience and/or graduate research, and assessment of student work;
- (ii) research and other original scholarly activities, as well as professional activities that contribute to a larger discourse; and
- (iii) other contributions to the University and scholarly communities. Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Qualifications include a doctorate in Educational Leadership or similar degree. Applicants who are nearing completion of their doctoral degree may be considered. Applicants should be eligible for teacher certification in the Province of Alberta. Ideally the successful candidate has a minimum of three years teaching experience in the Pre-K to Graduation school sector and/or leadership experience in a similar sector. The successful candidate must have the ability and interest to teach courses in and contribute to the Master of Education in Educational Leadership and the Bachelor of Education programs. The ability to teach in online, face-to-face, and blended formats, and the ability to integrate innovative technology into teaching will be an asset for this position. About Our Programs The Faculty of Education offers a cohort-based graduate-level educational leadership program with options for thesis, project and course based study. The MEd-Ed Leadership program is a hybrid program where courses are taught online in Fall and Winter terms with an annual summer residency each July. This includes the blended-delivery Master of Counselling (MC) program, as well as an on-campus Master of Education (MEd) Counselling Psychology program.
