Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with company policies
Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability

Experience:

Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry
Indepth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
Familiarity with construction management software for tracking incidents, inspections, and training records
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety protocols
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
