Position Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the District's Parks team. Reporting to the Section Manager, Parks Capital Projects, you will be responsible for reviewing, planning and coordinating the delivery of complex parks capital construction and infrastructure projects. This includes liaising with and coordinating consultants, contractors and others involved in the design and construction processes for parks capital projects, both new and renewal, including scope development, cost and budget control, approvals and permitting, and contract administration and oversight. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget, supervising staff and consultants/contractors involved in the work, and ensuring strategic alignment to Parks Department plans and priorities. ***by
