Alberta (Based out of Leduc)

Shift Schedule:
Varies according to the nature of the project.


The Labourer is responsible for supporting operators and supervisors to work safely and efficiently by cleaning the site, moving materials, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Labourers may be responsible for the safe operation of equipment, including rock trucks and packers. Projects may include demolition, remediation, and reclamation projects.


Tasks

  • Cleaning of construction sites.
  • Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment, loading and unloading equipment.
  • Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment.
  • Working with hand tools, moving materials on construction sites, and assisting other workers.
  • Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol.

Physical Requirements

  • Some heavy lifting and physically demanding duties are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in oilfield waste management.
  • Heavy equipment and valid industry safety tickets are an asset.
  • Must have steel toe work boots.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and hours.
  • Must be available and willing to work in various terrains, weather conditions, and in isolated locations accessed by various means of transportation.
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team, as well as independently with little direction or supervision.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Reliable communication and customer service skills.
  • H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are required.
