Wesgroup is seeking a talented Leasing Manager to join its Leasing team. This role will report to the Director of Leasing.

The role of the Leasing Manager will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the leasing of key new development projects across industrial, retail and office asset classes within the Lower Mainland;
  • Responsible for the leasing and revenue growth of assets within Wesgroup's existing commercial portfolio;
  • Create leasing plans and gather market data to inform asset strategy;
  • Manage and negotiate renewal terms with existing tenants in line with asset strategy;
  • Responsible for coordination with other internal departments
  • Property Management, Development, Legal, Accounting, etc. as it relates to each deal;
  • Be a key part of the project team for pipeline developments by providing market information to aid business plan and proforma generation as well as building design;
  • Provide constant market information to senior managers;
  • Create and maintain broker relationships in the marketplace;
  • Create and maintain relationships with existing Wesgroup tenants including government and large multinational tenants;
  • Provide regular deal reporting to executive team;
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the leasing team (Paralegal, Tenant Improvement Manager) on each deal

Qualifications and Knowledge:


  • Minimum of five years' experience within a leasing manager or brokerage role;
  • Proven Vancouver market knowledge and established presence within the brokerage community;
  • Experience of working with lease agreements and other legal documentation;
  • Yardi and VTS experience is an asset;
  • Willing to take initiative and ownership of tasks;
  • Proven ability to work in high pressured environments with tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a team is critical.
Expected Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 $125,000 per annum. Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
