    What you will do:

    • Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and make sure that all activities are conducted within regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and assist in managing the performance of all staff and assign duties and tasks to staff members.
    • Establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
    • Ensure deposits are entered daily, prepare all invoices in order, keep track of chargebacks.
    • Book and keep track of all private tours and reservations, social media visibility posts, responding to ratings and feedback.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the tourism industry, preferably in sightseeing or tour operations
    • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups
    • Must be bilingual and able to speak and communicate in both French and English
    • Knowledge of local history, landmarks, and culture
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
    • Proficient in the use of digital devices and software relevant to tour operations and scheduling
    • Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and effectively
    • Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods
    • Ability to manage bookings and basic administrative tasks
    • Demonstrated customer service excellence
    • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adherence to regulations
    • Ability to train and mentor junior staff members
    • Education background in tourism, hospitality or related field considered an asset.

    Ce que vous ferez :

    • Aider le gestionnaire à superviser les opérations quotidiennes et s'assurer que toutes les activités sont menées dans le respect des règlements et des politiques de l'entreprise.
    • Surveiller et aider à gérer le rendement de tout le personnel et attribuer des tâches et des tâches aux membres du personnel.
    • Établir et maintenir de bonnes relations de travail avec les fournisseurs, les fournisseurs et les clients.
    • Assurez-vous que les dépôts sont entrés quotidiennement, préparez toutes les factures dans l'ordre, gardez une trace des rétrofacturations.
    • Réservez et gardez une trace de toutes les visites et réservations privées, des publications de visibilité sur les réseaux sociaux, en répondant aux évaluations et aux commentaires.

    Exigences du poste :

    • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie du tourisme, de préférence dans les opérations touristiques ou touristiques
    • Expérience avérée en supervision ou en leadership d'équipe
    • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps
    • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et de communication, avec la capacité de s'engager efficacement avec divers groupes
    • Doit être bilingue et capable de parler et de communiquer en français et en anglais
    • Connaissance de l'histoire, des repères et de la culture locaux
    • Capacité de travailler selon des horaires flexibles, y compris les fins de semaine et les jours fériés
    • Maîtrise de l'utilisation d'appareils numériques et de logiciels pertinents pour les opérations touristiques et la planification
    • Capacité de gérer les urgences et les situations inattendues calmement et efficacement
    • Doit être en bonne forme physique et capable de se tenir debout ou de marcher pendant de longues périodes
    • Capacité à gérer les réservations et les tâches administratives de base
    • Excellence démontrée du service à la clientèle
    • Engagement à maintenir des normes de sécurité élevées et à respecter la réglementation
    • Capacité de former et d'encadrer des membres du personnel subalterne
    • Études dans le domaine du tourisme, de l'hôtellerie ou d'un domaine connexe considéré comme un atout.
