Life Science SALES Representative
Norgen Biotek is rapidly expanding and looking to immediately recruit motivated and enthusiastic individuals for sales positions to work in Canada.
Job Duties
- Maintain and support existing customer base
- Prospecting by identifying new accounts, building relationships and increasing customer base.
- Meeting with existing and potential clients and identifying their needs, goals and constraints.
- Having a solid technical and product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their goals.
- Maintain and update CRM system with relevant information on customer's laboratory practices and market intelligence.
- Administrative tasks related to assisting customers, including quote generation and order processing.
- Technical support for Norgen customers
- Submit all required reports on a timely basis
- Other duties which may be assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent. Master degree in molecular biology or a related field highly desirable.
- Extensive practical/lab experience is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of wet lab molecular biology and genomics workflows is highly required.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of molecular biology, including DNA/RNA purification, PCR, cloning, and sequencing.
- Technical training experience highly desirable.
- Experience with CRM, lead generation and tracking software is highly desirable.

- Customerfacing skills, including the ability to build positive relationships and engage in scientific discussions with customers.

- A strong desire to work with customers to understand their experimental needs and recommend Norgen's products that achieve their scientific goals.
- Organized and able to work independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to integrate both internal and fieldbased resources to find creative solutions to customer requests.
- Ability to prioritize conflicting customer requests based on urgency and business value.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written. Additional language skills are welcome.
- Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally as required.

Full-time, Permanent

From $20.00 per hour
