Responsibilities:


  • Manage the purchasing process including the buying, selling and distributions aspects of the company
  • Set and enforce a budget for the purchasing department
  • Evaluate purchasing policies and implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems
  • Hire and train purchasing department staff
  • Maintain records of inventory to determine when new goods need to be ordered
  • Oversee the negotiations of all purchases made by the purchasing department
  • Negotiate on behalf of the organization and maintain good relationships with vendors
  • Communicate with sales and other departments to effect working strategies
  • Handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers
  • Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability
  • Maintain a good rapport with the company's clientele
  • Follow all procedures in compliance of Advanced Skytech Canada Ltd. standard policy and operation regulations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required experience: minimum 2year working experience in purchasing and management
  • Required skills: intermediate level of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, strong verbal and written skills in English
