Role Summary


The Finance Business Partner - Commercial (FBPC) supports the vision and mandate of the Finance department by driving value, productivity, and trust in providing financial advice, support, and acumen to the commercial teams.

The role works closely with the Sales & Marketing teams as well as Supply Chain and other members of the Finance team to drive and foster commercial success.

There are 4 core principles in the Finance Business Partner roles at Carlsberg:

Accountabilities:


  • Monitor the financial development of the business, proactively identify and provide recommendations for improvement and further value creation
  • Enhance and present accurate, timely, and relevant management reports and analyses with forward looking insights
  • Work with commercial partners to support decision making and to impact & predict business outcomes
  • Own the commercial planning process for finance with input to the budget and estimate cycles, following up on plans to focus on actions to close gaps to targets
  • Support the FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure data, reports and analysis are relevant, accurate, and timely
  • Participate in Commercial and Financial projects to improve efficiencies

Qualifications and Experience:


  • An accounting designation and university degree preferably in Accounting or Business
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Experience in multinational companies and working in matrix structures is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience ideally in beverage industry and FMCG
  • Previous experience partnering with a Commercial organization/division
