What You'll Do:


  • Manage the end to end Fleet Tracking/Telemetrics business for Charlotte, including sales, business development, marketing, and administration.
  • Manage an existing book of business with current clients with a focus on new business
  • Engage with accounts prospects to develop new business
  • Travel to new and current customers throughout Ontario & Canada
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; make initial presentations; understand account requirements
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; demonstrating product and software functions; overcome objections; prepare contracts
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Learn and build indepth technical product knowledge of Geotab and Telematics related services

What You'll Need:


  • An entrepreneurial mindset, to help build and grow this business (flexible, versatile, ability to pivot as needed)
  • Sales / Business Development experience
  • Ability to develop and execute business goals and targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in fleet management / public works / road operations considered a strong asset
  • Experience selling and working with a SaaS product (preferred)
  • A reliable car and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel anywhere in Ontario & Canada
