We are looking for an Operations Clerk, Visitor Services


As Operations Clerk, Visitor Services, you will be responsible for providing clerical assistance and support to aid in the planning and coordination of activities in the Visitor Services section's area of responsibility; working directly with the Management team of Visitor Services to assist in the efficient administration of day-to-day operations of the section, including filing and bring forward systems, through management of tracking documents, as well as the preparation and processing of requisitions and correspondence; and carrying out other related duties.

Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in:

  • Office administration duties;
  • Financial administration (ie. monitoring and updating budget files and assisting with pay administration);
  • Maintaining databases;
  • Customer service;
  • Interpreting clauses of a collective agreement (leave and attendance, pay administration);

Knowledge of:


  • Office administration, techniques and prodecures;
  • Financial procedures and systems;
  • Human Resources and administrative processes and practices;
  • Employee scheduling systems;
  • Establishing and maintaining information services.

Education:

High school diploma plus one year of formal education in administration or office technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Compensation:
E3 - $46,884 to $58,023 (under review)

Location: 100, Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec and 1, Vimy Place, Ottawa, Ontario and possibility of hybrid work according to the needs of the position.
