As a Bike Rental Technician, our guests feelmore knowledgeable and confident about mountain biking after their interactionwith you. You assist them with selecting the best mountain bike equipment andprovide insider tips for the best trails on the mountain. You take pride inproviding our guests with the best vacation and recreation experience possible.

As a Mountain Bike Instructor, you will beresponsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience in all of our variousprograms. You must be athletic, passionate, and have strong communicationskills. You will demonstrate a fun and responsible approach to working withguests and fellow employees and will deliver an incomparable, customizedlearning experience in a safe and encouraging environment.

You will:

· Ensure the safety of allstudents and guests and provide an exceptional mountain experience throughprofessional instruction on a mountain bike.

· Contribute to aprofessional, supportive environment for other Instructors and KHMR staff.

· Assist guests with sizingand fitting of appropriate mountain bike equipment while maximizing comfort andsafety.

· Ensure guest safety bycompleting waivers for all rentals and describing safe use of rental equipment.

· Provide a consistentfriendly and approachable demeanor for customers.

· Handle cash; includingcash balancing, coin orders, opening and closing duties.

· Clean gear, bikes andmaintain tidiness and organization of the store.

· Sell retail products instore (clothing, bike parts and other items).

· Work flexible shifts withvarying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels.

· Engage in daily teammeetings, training and other communications necessary to provide a high-quality experience for guests of theresort.

· Work for extended periodsin harsh weather conditions (cold, wind, heat, altitude).

· Complete other duties asassigned.

You:

· Hold a PMBIA Level 1 orequivalent; PMBIA Level 2 or 3 would be ideal.

· Have advanced downhillmountain bike skills.

· Are outgoing withexcellent communication skills.

· Are passionate aboutinstructing and creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

· Have passion andenthusiasm for mountain culture & biking, and the resort environment.

· Have experience in acustomer service role – preferably a rental or retail establishment.

· Have previous salesexperience and use of Point of Sale (POS) applications.

· Have cash handlingexperience.

· Have a completed criminalbackground check.

· Have sufficient strength,physical condition, and stamina to be able to conduct mountain bike lessons forextended periods of time.
