As the Director, Court of King's Bench Operations you are responsible for implementing the provincial strategic vision, organizational structures, and plans for coordinating operations for the Court of King's Bench throughout the province ensuring effective implementation of administration to support Saskatchewan's Courts. This position understands and has experience with the Court of King's Bench, Provincial Courts and court systems overall in order to oversee, provide direction and expertise to achieve consistency. You will empower others, advise senior leadership and management and liaise with federal/provincial/territorial government officials regarding implementation of court policies, standards and practices.
Success in this role is dependent on your leadership, consultation and collaboration skills, your ability to successfully work in tandem with the Court of King's Bench and Ministry representatives to implement strategic initiatives, and policies. To present a consistent approach to supporting Saskatchewan's King's Bench Courts and advise senior leaders of potential risks and opportunities for improvements within court operations.

Exceptional leadership skills with proven success managing court operations and overseeing complex issues in court operations, leading the implementation of strategic initiatives, policy and managing changes to achieve positive results.
Typically, the experience and knowledge required to achieve the above is obtained through:
A degree in Business Administration, Law, Criminal Justice, Sociology or Criminology, supplemented with court operations leadership and management work experience. Experience in policy development and implementation is necessary. Skills related to continuous improvement, change management, and problem solving would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate must demonstrate good character in order to maintain the integrity of the justice system, the people it serves, and to ensure confidentiality within and external to their work environments.
