Position Overview:
Full-time Audio-Visual Technicians for Corporate Events at the Grey Eagle Resort. A/V Technicians report directly to the I.T.

Manager and are responsible for set-up, operation, and breakdown of audio-video equipment for events including, but not limited to: sound systems, professional video cameras, large-format video monitors, and projectors.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of live audio experience required. (E.g., A1 or A2 experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years with basic live video production experience required: (E.g., Camera Op)
  • Solid understanding of audio and video signal flow.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with live streaming equipment and software.
  • Experience with live music audio production.
  • Experience with staging and lighting
  • Proficiency in running a project site, installs and leading a crew of technicians

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual equipment.
  • Ability to work with PowerPoint, Keynote, Google suite and other video conferencing software.
  • Competence in

Adobe Suites:
Premiere and Audition.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow instructions as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, be proactive, and handle pressure in highprofile settings.
  • Confidently operate digital and analog audio mixers
  • Assisted listening device operations and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work a variety of scheduled shifts/hours
  • Ability to operate power tools, lift heavy loads and work at heights using ladders and/or scaffolding
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
  • Work with clients through planning and implementation phases to ensure their event is successful.
  • Work with sales and catering teams to fulfill client AV needs
  • Oversee event team and delegate and adjust duties and requirements on the fly
  • Other A/V duties as required.
