Employment type:
full-time permanent employment in a hybrid work setting


(travel into our Bradford facility will be required on a weekly basis and other facilities including Markham as required)

We're searching for a talented professional to join our Operations division as a
Project Manager, Product Development (Edibles and Oils).

In this role, you will report into the Director, Product Development - Edibles and Oils and will support the commercialization process for our new product lines in the Edibles and Oils portfolio across all channels: Canadian Consumer, Canadian Medical and International.

You will facilitate all aspects of the project life cycle for new products, from ideation to manufacturing to commercialization, and help improve the cannabis experience for our consumers and patients.

As the Project Manager, Product Development you will

  • Lead all aspects of project management, from integration to implementation, for Edible and Oil products
  • Partner with key stakeholders to manage delivery of initiatives, develop project plans, identify risks, and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage the intake process for new product pipelines to ensure all criteria levels are met before advancing through each stagegate
  • Utilize project management tools and coordinate project resources to ensure timelines and objectives are satisfied and processes are consistent
  • Document critical paths for all projects to identify and manage risks, and liaise with stakeholders to share project updates, metrics, and solutions for potential risks
  • Escalate potential risks, capacity issues or other project related concerns through established channels to avoid delays
  • Maintain project dashboards and data in relevant systems to ensure stakeholders have accurate information
  • Ensure all project resources are adhering to proper governance expectations and are aligned with project scopes, timelines, and best practices

You will be setup for success if you have

  • Postsecondary education, such as a Bachelor's Degree, in Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in a program or project management role
    _(we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)_

Bonus points if you have

  • A PMP designation or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience working in a production environment specifically in the cannabis, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industries
