Who We Are

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the largest faculty at Simon Fraser University, is home to 17 departments and schools, and 10 interdisciplinary programs.

Within the Office of the Dean, Faculty Affairs is the key connection point between FASS faculty and the Faculty Relations Office.

The FASS Faculty Affairs team supports the Faculty's academic units and the Office of the Dean by providing information, advice and guidance on a wide range of matters including but not limited to the SFUFA/SFU Collective Agreement and EDI considerations during faculty-related processes.

Our mission is to support the faculty life cycle through engagement, collaboration and collegiality.
