We are seeking a Professional Engineer to join our Asset Management division. You will be responsible for facilitating the required
collaboration and identifying, documenting, and optimizing the business processes key in producing a transparent, automated, and
dynamic Asset Management Plan (AMP).


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Supervise and provide leadership and mentorship to technical staff, providing a climate for growth and development.
  • Accountable for the optimization of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) asset lifecycle delivery by:
  • Developing new maintenance plans, as well as the continuously review and update of existing maintenance plans and
strategies, to sustain the ongoing operation of the HVDC system.

  • Developing maintenance effectiveness measures and identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance and
replacement/retirement strategies through reliability engineering analysis on HVDC assets.

  • Develop risk mitigation options for emerging asset related risks with input from key internal stakeholders.
  • Work with divisional groups to develop project scope/functional requirements for investments identified through reliability
analysis.

  • Provide input to key internal stakeholders on how asset data should be developed to inbuild asset management models that
will be used to analyze the condition of equipment as well as optimize preventative and planned maintenance programs.

  • Participate in the development of the Section's, Department's and Division's business plans.
  • Represent the HVDC Assets team on asset management related committees and working groups, including coordination of
- asset management strategies between departments in Asset Management Division.
  • Provide input for the development of training material and informational presentation on maintenance philosophy and

- practices.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relations with stakeholders within and outside of the Asset Management division for
the purposes of information sharing and team alignment.


_ Qualifications:
_


  • Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a university of recognized standing with a minimum of seven years of
related experience, including three years' experience in design, construction, maintenance, or project management of HVDC
assets as well as two years of supervisory experience.

  • Professional Membership in good standing with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVDC type assets including the design, operation, reliability, compliance requirements, maintenance
- practices, and modes of failure.
  • Knowledge of RCM theory, FMEA/FHA/FFA, root cause analysis, and asset management theory.

  • May be required to visit various asset locations across the province.
  • An Institute of Asset Management Certificate in Asset Management would be considered an asset.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $47.79-$65.48 Hourly,
$91,582.66-$125,470.80 Annually.
