What you'll do:

  • Extract, prepare and analyze data for adhoc tasks and reporting using SAS and SQL queries.
  • Participate in the analysis of business strategy impacts on credit risk strategies
  • Brainstorm and potentially design new customer attributes and segmentations to help build more robust credit risk models.
  • Recommend improvements and quantify the benefits of existing credit risk strategies.
  • Potentially design and implement challenger strategies that are proven to outperform champion strategies
  • Assist with validating risk model changes and implementing risk strategies implementation.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams to achieve objectives.

Must-have:

  • An academic focus in mathematics, statistics, business, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Familiarity with programming languages in SAS, SQL, Python, Matlab, R or Tableau
  • Expert in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and independently execute assigned work.
  • Team player and result oriented.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of Risk Management and Retail Credit Products
  • Experience in statistical modeling
