- Enrolled in University or College level courses in Computer Sciences and/or Business Administration
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must possess problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills
- Must be energetic and self-motivated
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment would be an asset
- IT systems support for manufacturing plant systems and integrated systems
- User (technical) support for effective and efficient use of MRP/ERP systems
- Monitor network performance; identify problems and take corrective actions. Resolves complex problem and malfunctions of all system applications, hardware, and software and provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on user questions
- Maintenance of Attendance Systems; employee swipe clocks, reception sign-in
- Maintain file transfer between computers and machines
- Assist Information Technology and production staff with documentation
- Conduct other special projects during work term as designated
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28)
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental Systems, HR policies and Martinrea Employee Handbook
- 50% Office, 50% Plant floor (PPE require)
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
- Overtime as required
- Ability to work on computer for long periods of time
- Ability to be present on the production floor daily
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
- Must be able to work with push pull forces of up to 50lbs. or less
- Must use or wear PPE and certain clothing as required by the Company
- Must work in accordance with H&S regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
