    Description
    Our client is a flourishing Industrial Manufacturing company dedicated to serving the energy sector.

    With their exponential growth, we are seeking a highly capable Supply Chain Manager to join our team to help streamline operations.

    Generate purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and assess requisitions for goods
    Explore opportunities for new products and procure replacement parts
    Manage inventory levels to support operations and adjust re-order points as per business needs
    Coordinate the acquisition of materials, components, and equipment according to production schedules
    Ensure vendors meet quality requirements and enforce standards
    Negotiate favourable pricing and oversee purchase transactions with vendors
    Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery
    Conduct inventory cycle counts and manage physical inventory programs
    Submit purchase orders to vendors accurately and promptly

    Proficiency in strategic supply-chain activities such as supply planning, sourcing, contracts, and supplier performance management
    ~5-10 years of purchasing/supply chain management experience, preference given to candidates with strong technical experience or engineering background
    ~ Experience working in a manufacturing company would be an asset
    ~ Excellent computer skills, able to use Microsoft Office and inventory software/systems (e.g. SAP, ERP)
    ~ Ability to use solid judgement and decision-making skills
    ~ Supply Chain related Diploma, Certificate or Degree
