With approximately 400 graduates each year, the Recruitment and Admissions (R&A) team supports the country's largest and most internationally diverse MBA program.
The Rotman MBA brings together a world-class research faculty with a core focus on incisive critical thinking, creativity and innovation, self development and leadership.
The R&A team is responsible for all aspects of the program from recruitment and admissions, financial aid, student engagement, registrarial services, and career services.
The R&A team is responsible for marketing, recruitment, as well as assessing and admitting students into the MBA Program. Reporting to the Director, the teamconsists of Assistant Directors that work on different regional and international portfolios. The team is also supported by a Marketing Manager, a Marketing and Events Coordinator and two R&A Administrators.
The Recruitment and Admissions Administrators work with Assistant Directors as well as prospective students, applicants and admitted students at various different stages in the Admission cycle by answering queries, applicant pre-screening, informing prospects or applicants on admission requirements, maintaining a CRM system with leads and applicant information, processing Admissions decisions and assisting with recruitment events and activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding toenquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
- Preparing draft correspondence using templates
- Updating and maintaining records
- Promoting programs at recruitment events
- Keeping wellinformed on University programs, policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum four years' experience in Recruitment and/or Admissions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
Assets (Nonessential):
- Ability to communicate in one or more languages other than English is a definite asset.
