Position Summary

Position Responsibilities

In charge of planning. preparing and serving fresh, seasonal, healthconscious meals (lunch, snacks, and dinner) for the family and their guests
Occasionally assist with breakfast and brunch from time to time
Manages every aspect of the kitchen, including grocery shopping, kitchen inventories, storage management and pantry stock
A housecar will be available to complete work duties.
Direct the operation and organization of kitchen, and all foodrelated activities, including the presentation and serving of food
Oversees overall cleanliness of the kitchen area at all times
Ensures general maintenance of kitchen equipment and service as required
Assists in sourcing or ordering kitchen supplies and equipment
Assists with planning and preparing food for parties, holiday meals, luncheons, special functions, and other social events
Travel will be required to vacation homes to provide meal preparation at those locations

Experience & Qualifications

Strong cooking background
Must have formal training in cuisine
Must have a passion for cooking
Good planning and organizational skills
Have the ability to adapting to the family's tastes, preferences and dietary requirements.
Energetic with a strong work ethic
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to work independently
Adaptable and able to respond to the needs of the principal residents, including having flexible hours and scheduling with the ability to work evenings, mornings and weekends according to the household needs
Be professional and punctual
Service oriented, have great presentation and pleasant with great communication skills
Understands that the outmost in discretion and confidentially is required at all times
Must be eligible to work in Canada and travel abroad without restriction (including having a valid passport)
