RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Create and design animated UI visual effects that adhere with the art direction and gameplay.
  • Integrate said UI animated visual effects in the game using Unreal engine.
  • Assist in ensuring workflows and pipelines are on track for efficient asset integration.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with Game Designers, Artists and Engineers to bring the game UI to life.
  • Have a solid knowledge of how current PC/Console games flow and function.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Certificate, associate degree or bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3+ experience as a Technical Artist working on PC/Console games.
  • Extensive knowledge in Unreal engine and proficient in using tools and features for art production.
  • Extensive knowledge in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Indepth understanding of combatbased UI elements and player requirements.
  • Understanding of different gaming platform limitations and requirements.
  • Solid understanding of basic UI design methodologies and practices.
  • Experience designing and creating game Heads-UpDisplays (HUDs).
  • Passion for video games and solid knowledge of different game genres across all platforms.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

BONUS POINT:


  • Knowledge of game development systems including BluePrint and scripting.
